The Disco, Funky and Soulful House Sessions

Hey! I'm travelling a lot over the next month, so I wanted to make sure I got a mix out. This is a mix of new bits and stuff I'm loving at the moment. I hope you like it! Speak soon!

It's a long holiday weekend in the UK, so thought I would put this out early. It's a trip for Disco, House and Garage over 90 minutes. I hope you enjoy it!

Hey! Not the official August mix...more, I played some new tunes, drank some beer, and then it got a bit silly. Enjoy!

16th Anniversary Mix! I genuinely want to thank you all for listening to this over the years. Here's a new mix of Soulful, Disco, House...

I started recording this mix when I learnt of the passing of an old friend, fellow DJ and all round top bloke. This mix is dedicated to the memory of Andy Driver, RIP my friend, catch you down the road x

Happy Friday! So much new good music out, that I wanted to make sure I got to play everything I liked this month. Then my ADHD kicked in and I went off on a tangent for the last 20 mins haha. I hope you like it!

Happy UK Bank Holiday Weekend! Here's a new mix of songs I'm really feeling at the mo. ANOTR reminds me of being in Amsterdam this week for Kings Day! Enjoy :)

A lil bit of this, a lil bit of that...

A little bit later than originally planned, here's an hour and ten of 23 of my favourite tracks right now. Soulful, Disco, House! Enjoy!

Normal Service Resumed! Here's a load of new songs I like, some bootlegs and some great remixes. Enjoy!!!

Due to some server issues, we couldn't get this mix up at the usual time. So here 3 weeks late is a best of 2025 mix from me! Enjoy.

Happy Holidays All! Due to a technical server issue, I can't give you the best of 25 mix. So...I have recorded this mix to bridge the gap until we can sort it out. Have a fab one all!

I'm so sorry this took so long. I've been in and out of Europe and work is crazy. So this mix is a dump of so many new bits I like in an all over the show mix. This is erratic and stupid. See you for best of 2025 in a few weeks!

Profuse apologies for the delay! Back from Croatia with an all over the shop mix! Enjoy!

I appreciate your patience again! Here's a new mix of Soulful, Disco, House. Penultimate tune is a new remix from myself and Mikks Lauda. Enjoy!

New Mix, enjoy!

Today, 15 years ago, the very first episodes of the House Session were released. 237 episodes and at least 400 hours later, here is the new one! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for listening, even if it was just one or all of them. I appreciate you!

In this final look back, instead of re-posting the first ever episode (I did that for the 10th anniversary) I've decided to post the second part of the mix recorded at the same time, which went out the same day. All over the place tunes! Enjoy.

Final retrospective mix! This is the raw recording of Part Two of the Best of the House Session 2024 for the House Finesse Podcast from December 24. Part One can be found 7 months back in the archive here! A brand new mix of new bits tomorrow!

As we get closer to the end of the look back, I've decided to switch things up. Some of you will know that I am resident for the House Finesse Podcast. This is the OG recording of my best of 2023 mix I did for the channel...without my voice on it haha!

Getting close now! Here is a bumper look back on 2022 and the tunes that I was playing at the time! Great stuff!

Today's blast from the past takes us to the longest episode of the pod ever recorded...the reason being that 2021 had some cracking tunes! Enjoy!

So today's blast from the past takes us to the pandemic/lockdown era. So many great tunes released at this time, and so many didn't get the chance to have a proper dancefloor outing. Enjoyed listening to this, I hope you do too!

Another day and a bumper flashback today!

Another day, another look back over the last 15 years! Today, it's a repost of the Best of the House Session from 2018. Enjoy!

Next on the trip through nearly fifteen years of the pod, we go to 2017 and this repost of some of my fave tracks of the year.

Happy Friday! For the next trip down memory lane, here is one of my fave best of the year mixes. So many great tunes - Enjoy!

Today's installment is a repost of a mix from 10 years ago looking at the best of 2015

On Day Two of the countdown, we head to 2014 and I think this is one of my favourite best of the year mixes. Nothing too heavy, just a nice slide through some Soulful and Uplifting numbers...see you again tomorrow!

July 14th 2025 will mark the 15th anniversary of this pod. From 2013 onwards (once I'd worked out what I was doing!) I started to post Best of the Year Mixes....so here's a re-post of the first one from 2013. Enjoy!

Hey! This mix is later than I anticipated. I did record one earlier in the month, but HATED it! So here's another all over the place mix. I'm days out from my Birthday and weeks out from the 15th anniversary of this pod. Thank you so much for listening!

Hey! I've been travelling Europe the last few weeks, so here is a massively over indulgent, bumper UK bank holiday mix of Soulful, Disco, House and loads of bootlegs! Enjoy!

Spring is sprung, the clocks are going forward, summer is on the way! Here's a mix with a more Soulful and Nu-Disco edge, with a spot of House and a bootleg featuring a sample from a recent Net of Flix show. Enjoy!

Ola! Apologies for the delay, I've been travelling and just home. Here is a new mix of Pop, Soulful, Disco, Funky and Stompy House. I really hope you like!

Yo! New Mix inbound. Some Soulful, some Disco, some House, some very cheeky Bootlegs...Enjoy!

Happy New Year! I'm sticking this mix out a little early to allow a blast on NYE if you've picked it up in time. Expect, Disco, Soulful, Latin, House and more!

Hey! It's that time of the year. Here is the first part of my mix of the best tunes of the year. You will find part 2 on Dec 27th via the House Finesse Podcast Episode 252. I hope you enjoy! Happy Holidays!! x

Sorry for the delay in a new episode! I've made this episode a little longer than usual to make up for it! Expect Soulful, Disco, House and Uplifting Vibes!!

Hi Folks back with a new mix, hope you enjoy! Quick Promo, my Production Alter Ego, Max Junez is playing 30/08 at Roots & Grooves, Colchester for the Mikks/Max Summer Party with lots of cool guests. Be lovely if you can make it!

Happy Summer Everyone! I really appreciate your patience with the delay on a July installment of the podcast. This month I've put together a mix of Latin, Soulful, Disco, Electronic, House and a tiny bit of Garage for you. I hope you like it!

Hey everyone! I was recording something for June but got a little distracted. This is a mix of tunes from back in the day that I used to love. I hope you enjoy it!

Happy Bank Holiday Weekend UK People! It's too early for a June House Session, so here's a bonus mix of new bits and some cheeky bootlegs!

So...beers on a Saturday and a mix from all over the years. There is some repetition of some recent tunes. Have a lovely weekend!.

Happy Friday Folks! Tonight I decided to experiment with the question 'What happens when you do a mix of your backlog and drink a couple of beers'. This is the result! Soulful, Disco, House, Tech and a bit of UKG, enjoy!!

Happy Easter! Here's a new mix of songs for you to enjoy over this long Easter Weekend! I hope you like it :)
